Fringebiscuit is the controller of the personal data collected for Showdle. Contact us at editorial@fringebiscuit.com.

We use your name, email address, guesses, score and eligibility confirmation to administer the promotion, prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries, select and contact winners, and record the award of Showdle bragging rights. If you optionally provide an Instagram handle, you are asking Fringebiscuit to tag that account in a public winner shout-out if you win. Leave the field blank if you do not want a public tag. You may withdraw that request before the shout-out is posted by emailing us. The score check and random draw are automated: the highest score sets the selection pool and one entry is selected at random.

We rely on performance of the promotion contract to administer your entry and on our legitimate interests to keep the draw secure and prevent abuse. We do not use your entry email for marketing unless you separately opt in.

Data is stored with our website and private workspace providers. If a provider processes data outside the UK, we use the safeguards required by UK data-protection law.

We plan to delete non-winning entry data within 90 days of the final 2026 Showdle round. We retain winner and administration records for up to six years where needed for legal or accounting records.

You may ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email editorial@fringebiscuit.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
