showdle competition rules

1. Showdle is a free daily skill-based guessing game promoted by Fringebiscuit.
2. Each round contains four Edinburgh Festival Fringe show titles represented by emoji clues.
3. To enter the daily winner draw, submit all four guesses and the entry form before 7pm UK time on that round’s date.
4. One entry per person and email address per round is permitted. Automated, bulk, duplicate or fraudulent entries may be removed.
5. The highest score achieved determines the selection pool. If anyone scores 4/4, only 4/4 entries enter the draw. If nobody scores 4/4, all entries tied on the highest score achieved enter the draw.
6. One winner is selected at random from that pool after entries close. The system records the highest score, pool size, selected entry and selection time so the result can be checked.
7. The prize is official Showdle 2026 bragging rights. It has no monetary value, no physical prize and no cash alternative.
8. The winner will be contacted using the supplied email address. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, is ineligible or does not consent to any proposed public announcement, Fringebiscuit may redraw from the same pool.
9. Fringebiscuit may suspend, amend or cancel a round where technical failure, abuse or circumstances beyond its reasonable control make a fair draw impossible.
10. Fringebiscuit’s decision is final. Nothing in these rules excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Showdle is operated by Fringebiscuit and is not an official Edinburgh Festival Fringe promotion.
